J.E. Horst Building & Remodeling specializes in wood frame, light gauge steel construction  and pre-engineered steel construction for residential and commercial projects. We are a design-build company offering concept to completion on custom buildings.

We can do all of our design work in-house, offering strict control over the design process to make sure that the customer's dream becomes a reality. We can work with customer supplied prints or along with the customer's design professional if that is preferred.

As a builder, we are committed to staying on top of changing codes and regulations. We are a lead safe builder, complying with EPA's standard of safe work practice and have up to date certifications for EPA's RRP ruling. Because your safety is important to us, we are committed to maintaining current firestop installation certifications.
